ASC Special Meeting

A special meeting was called December 10th to select interim officers/board members to
complete the term for 2011-1012 and to review the importance of a healthy, active club to
supplement the grooming of filing roads and the trails up-country.

Groomers have been selected for the season and include Mike Bartlett, Ron Corder, Glen
Abbott, and Toby----, and in addition Bill Misare and Will Hobson have agreed to help
as needed. Lucia Lebon will oversee the groomers with regard to scheduling and keeping
track of hours spent grooming Groomers have been oriented to the groomer and will
have additional orientation and observation with regard to groomer maintenance.
Groomers for the season will be reimbursed at the rate of $15/hr, the AIA will be
responsible for covering those costs when filing roads are groomed and the ASC will be
covering costs for grooming of the trails.

New officers for the season will be Rich Ostrom as President, Don Koeltzow as treasurer,
and Sally Burrichter as Vice President and Lucia Lebon as secretary. Member at Large
is pending at this time. There is still a need for a volunteer to oversee the sales of club
merchandise.

Rescue equipment was presented to the attending members to reinforce the need for
groomed trails.

Upcoming events include placing the poles to mark the trail as soon as snow depth is
adequate, three planned group rides on the 1st Saturday of Jan, Feb and March with
Melissa organizing these rides. Next meeting is January 7th at 9am at the Inn, breakfast at
8am and ride to start at 10am.

Executive board will be meeting before the general meeting to set the agenda and
establish by-laws for the club.
