A BIG DONATION was made to the Gunnison Food Pantry, courtesy of Arrowhead residents, on October 19th. This was the largest amount of food we have ever contributed and it was well appreciated! There were 6 bags, 5 boxes, and some cash. There were lots of healthy canned goods, fruit juices, staples, hygiene products, and even some special treats.

Thanks to all the year round residents who continue their support and a special thanks to summer residents who apparently cleaned out their pantries before leaving the mountain. You are all a generous, warm-hearted bunch! As one person said, "Hunger is a terrible thing." Just think of the smiles on the faces - and the relief in the hearts - of those people you helped feed!
