
Meet the newest member to the A.I.A. Board. Don Koeltzow was raised on a farm in Clovis, New Mexico. He received a BS in Chemistry from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a MS and PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois.
After a Post Doctorate at Stanford University, he served on the faculty of Luther College for 15 years; was Chief of Research and Development for USDA's Federal Grain Inspection Service for 10 years; became Director of the USDA's Grain Marketing and Production Research Center in Manhattan, Kansas, until retirement in 2006.
While in Manhattan, he served as the Treasurer of the Briarcliff Homeowner's Association and re-wrote the covenants. Don has owned property her since 1996. He and his wife Kathy moved here in 2006 and are full time residents. They have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. |
