  • Pat’s watercolor class on June 19th was very successful with 12 people, mostly beginners, trying their hand at watercolor painting. Next class is July 10th.
  • What do Arrowhead residents have under the kitchen sink?? Everybody’s friend…. WD forty for removing tree pitch.
  • #1 rule for survival from the Division of Wildlife is: Always tell someone where you are going and when you plan to return. If you change your general area, tell someone of that change.
  • Plans are progressing on the bathroom facilities at the parking lot.
  • A Hotsy Steam Cleaner has been purchased to help maintain the association road equipment.

  • Arrowhead book club met June 20th and enjoyed a wonderful luncheon with India dishes. Joyce Boulter led the discussion of Beneath a Marble Sky. The highlight was having John Shors (the author) on the speaker phone. Carla Vavick brought pictures of the Taj Mahal from a trip she had taken. Pat Reitz has been working on the club scrap book and the ladies admired her efforts on the book. THANKS, Pat!
  • A simple way to remove young noxious weeds is by pouring boiling water directly on them. This method cooks the plant material causing death.
