Mountain Living July 5th-July 13th

Imagine Joyce and Bill Boulter’s surprise when they heard this bear under their deck turning over old rotten boards looking for insects! The bear stayed awhile giving them time to watch and take pictures.

  • The wildflower walk was held July 6th with people enjoying the cool morning. The group went to Salt Basin (at Arrowhead) and identified several wildflowers and some took pictures. Linda Dysart pointed out the different types of flowers and gave interesting comments on them. A lunch at the Inn followed.

  • Hint from Linda, “if you are in the wilderness and you need a quick sun screen, rub your hand on an Aspen tree and use the white powder for a sun screen.”
