Arrowhead Community Volunteering Opportunities
Sustainability Committee

The Board of Directors is forming a new Sustainability Committee, and we are looking for dedicated community members to join us. Our goal is to look at the big picture—identifying long-term risks and planning ahead to ensure Arrowhead remains a safe and vibrant place for everyone.
We need diverse perspectives to help us plan for projects like:
- Forest fire mitigation and tree health.
- Road maintenance and heavy equipment management.
- Alpine plateau permitting.
- Winter parking and facility planning.
This is a great opportunity to help protect our shared investments and community assets. Whether you have professional experience in these fields or simply have a passion for Arrowhead’s future, we would love to have you on the team.

​Annual Forest Refuse Burn
​​
The annual Forest Refuse Site prescribed burn planned between Thanksgiving and Christmas needs volunteers to assist with burn preparations, burn day ignition, monitoring burn progress, and safety. We start at the FIREHOUSE at 9:00 A.M. and work until Noon. The continued support is always much appreciated in keeping our common areas clean and neat.
Be prepared to help so bring:

Gloves

Racks
-
Chainsaws
-
Safety Gear (Hard hats, glasses, etc.)

Trailers
-
Water and lots of energy!​

Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability Form
Arrowhead depends on all the wonderful people who volunteer in this community.

Before you volunteer for any activity at Arrowhead, please download the Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability Form, complete and sign it, and give it to whomever is heading up the activity (who will pass it along to the AIA office).
​
You need only complete this form once each year. You should keep a copy for yourself in case you need to take it to any other activity. Copies of the form will also be available at the AIA office or from the Arrowhead Outreach team.
